What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember settings, keep sessions secure, or load embedded content. Similar technologies include local storage entries we use to backup your consent choice.
How we use cookies
We group cookies into three categories. Only essential cookies run without your choice. Functional and analytics cookies require consent via the banner on first visit or via the controls on this page.
Essential cookies
sg_studio_consent — stores your cookie preferences (essential, functional, analytics flags, timestamp, version). Duration: approximately six months (15552000 seconds). Path: /. SameSite: Lax. Secure on HTTPS. Backup: localStorage key with the same name. Purpose: comply with consent requirements and remember your choice across pages and reloads. Cannot be disabled while still using consent features — rejecting non-essential cookies still sets this essential record.
Functional cookies / Google Maps
Every content page on this site includes a Google Maps embed showing our studio at 456 River Valley Road. Google may set cookies or use similar storage when the map loads (e.g. NID, CONSENT on google.com domains). These are functional — they enable the map you request — not used by us for analytics.
Google Maps embeds load on every page. If you reject optional functional cookies in our banner, maps remain visible; Google may still set third-party cookies when the embed loads. See our privacy notice for Google's processing.
Map variants: Write Us page uses a large letterbox map above contact details; Home, Lanes, and Partnerships use a low strip above the footer; Workshop and Enquire use a wide band; Legal, Privacy, Terms, Cookies, and 404 use a compact map below main text.
Analytics cookies
We do not deploy analytics cookies by default on this site. The customise panel includes an analytics toggle for future use; it remains off unless you enable it and save. No third-party analytics script is loaded at build date 2026-08-11.
Cookie banner behaviour
On first visit you see a bottom strip with Accept all, Reject optional, and Customise. Accept all records consent for optional categories. Reject optional keeps maps visible while storing your choice. Customise opens toggles for Functional and Analytics; Save stores your exact choice. The banner hides after a choice and should not reappear on reload or navigation within six months unless you clear storage or use Manage cookies below.

Browser controls
You can block or delete cookies via browser settings. Blocking essential consent cookies may cause the banner to reappear each visit. Google Maps embeds load on every page; blocking Google cookies in your browser may limit map interactivity.

Further detail on consent storage
The sg_studio_consent value records boolean flags for functional and analytics categories plus a version string so we can migrate formats without silently resetting your choice. Clearing site data removes both cookie and localStorage copies; the banner will appear again on next visit.
Embedded content beyond maps
At build date we do not embed video players, social widgets, or chat beacons. If that changes, this notice will be updated before new scripts load, and the banner categories will reflect any new non-essential storage.
Your choices in practice
Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent you from using the Site. Google Maps remains visible on every page. Essential consent storage still runs so we do not ask on every page view. Analytics remains off unless you explicitly enable it in Customise and save — we do not load analytics scripts when the toggle is off.
Third-party cookie domains
When Google Maps loads, cookies may be set on google.com, google.com.sg, or related domains depending on your browser and region. We do not control those cookies. Consult Google's policies and your browser settings if you wish to restrict them after accepting functional cookies here.
Retention of consent records
Consent records align with the Max-Age on sg_studio_consent (approximately one hundred and eighty days). After expiry, the banner reappears and prior choices are not assumed. You may change preferences at any time via Manage cookies on this page or by clearing site data.
Cross-page consistency
Because every page includes a Google Maps embed, your cookie choice applies site-wide once saved. Navigating from Home to Privacy does not reset consent. Opening the site in a private browsing window will show the banner again because storage is session-isolated.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. We treat that signal as a preference against analytics cookies but do not use it to block essential consent storage required to honour your explicit choices.
Changes to this notice
If we add new cookie categories or third-party embeds, we will update this page before enabling them and reset consent where required by law. Material changes are reflected in the last updated date at the top.
